The U.K. government has asked that all other U.K. airports are ready by June 2024. That includes Aberdeen, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Southampton, Southend and London Stansted.

It's worth noting that even if passengers depart from an airport that is using 3D scanners in the U.K., they would still need to check that the other airports they are travelling through also use the same technology—Amsterdam's Schiphol airport, Miami International airport or Leonardo da Vinci International airport in Rome are some that have the 3D technology already in place. Many across Europe currently do not.
